Day #7 11/12/03 & Day #8 11/13/03

OH, YA clock’n in the frequent flyer miles on this trip. So after flying 9 hours to Australia I find myself eating with chopstix once again. This time one of our “Mate’s” took us to a great little Thai place, go figure? So once we arrived here in Sydney it totally reminds me of Cali. Santa Barba, Malibu or Santa Cruz, something crazy like that.

Cannondale, Aus only consists of 4 dudes.

Today we also attempted to go Street riding. Lately I have had some bad luck finding some epic riding. I’ll go out and find something and it’s to far out of reach or I’ll ride out to it and someone will kick us out or I’ll get a fat trying it or something just crazy like that. I am hell bent on finding some of the best street ever and I only have just three more days to do that. Keep on checking out the updates and hopefully I’ll come up with something real good.

Like Aaron said, we’ve been traveling for the most part of the past two days. The first jet we took yesterday was painted with the Pokey Mon figures on it. Then after a short visit with Yoshi to an amazing old Japanese temple, we jumped on a nine hour red eye flight to Sydney. We arrived and tried to ride some street but without much luck. Cops and flat tires. Then we hit these local jungle dirt jumps with Mike Shaw. Mike is the dude behind the Red Bull Ride. He is also building a dirt jump expo in a park for a huge AC jump jam demo this Sunday. The weather looks good and it should be off the hook.
