ABOUT DH PRODUCTIONS

DH Productions is a leading video and multimedia production facility in the action sports entertainment industry. DH Productions is owned and operated by expert downhill mountain biker racer and Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker Don Hampton.

On September 16th 2000, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded Don his third prestigious Emmy Award. The academy honored Don as an outstanding director for sports programming. He also earned an individual achievement Emmy for outstanding camera work. For the past two years, Don has received individual achievement Emmy nominations for outstanding director. The Emmy award tally for Don and DH Productions is an amazing twenty-three nominations and three awards in the past seven years!

DH Productions was forged to unite Don's passion for mountain biking and BMX to his career in television production. The result has been breath-taking footage shot from an experienced rider's point of view.

The most recent production credits for Don and DH Productions include the 2001 & 2002 ESPN Summer X-Games and The 2001 Dave Mirra BMX Super Tour for ESPN. When Don is not on his bike or behind the lens for DH Productions, he also teaches video production classes at Penn State University with the College of Communications.
